Claims
Claims for breakages or missing bottles must be notified in writing on the consignment note at the time of delivery and a copy remains in the possession of the delivery company. Please inform us directly of any damage or loss within 48 hours of delivery. Non-delivery must be notified within 21 days of the order date. Any failure to comply will mean we are unable to satisfy any claim.

Pricing
In the event that a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to supplier pricing information or typographical error, we at Nick's Wines will have the right to refuse or cancel orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Nick's Wines will promptly issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Prices as shown do not include the delivery charge, which will be added at the checkout stage.

Exchange Rates
All prices are in Pounds Sterling. Choose the currency in which you wish to view our prices by clicking on the link above the Summary Shopping Basket on every page.
Our payment system uses Pounds Sterling for all credit card transactions. For your benefit we use the current exchange rate to calculate and display prices in your currency if you wish, this is for your information only as we cannot guarantee that rates will be the same on the day you are charged. All orders will only be charged on the day of dispatch.
Your Credit Card Company will convert our sterling charge into your home currency on your credit card statement. This should be very close to the amount displayed on our site, unless there has been a huge fluctuation on the exchange markets. We update our exchange rates several times per day to avoid too much difference. Nick's Wines hope that you will understand that refunds will not be given to counteract changes in exchange rates.
We will charge the quoted price in sterling. You will then be charged by your credit card company, in your own currency, at the exchange rate that they apply on the day.

Order Procedure
Shortly after you place your order we will send you an order confirmation, which will contain details of your order, shipping charges, delivery address and any gift message. We will also give you an estimated delivery time of any goods which are temporarily out of stock.
Christmas & popular celebrations
Christmas and other celebrations are very busy times of the year. We would therefore appreciate your co-operation in placing your orders in advance to ensure that your purchases arrive in good time. Please use the following guidelines for delivery:

Any orders placed after these dates cannot be guaranteed, although we will try our best to ensure delivery when possible.
The receipt by you of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order. Prior to Nick's Wines acceptance of an order, verification of information may be required. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion of it for any reason - even after your receipt of an order confirmation from Nick's Wines. We also reserve the right to limit the order quantity on any item and to refuse service to any customer without prior notification.

You should be aware that this site is being monitored and may capture information about your visit that will help us improve the quality of our service.

We try our best to avoid mistakes in pricing and product information, but we are human and mistakes can happen. If a mistake occurs we reserve the right to correct it and we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause. Quotations are given in good faith but are subject to availability of supply. All prices are based on the pound sterling (GBP) and all contracts to supply are made under European law. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our database is regularly updated, current prices may alter. Exchange rates are an approximate indication and are subject to fluctuation. All prices quoted are subject to confirmation.
Nick's Wines will also have the right without notice and at any time to terminate the website or any portion of it, any products or services offered through the website, or any individual's right to access or use the website or any portion of it.
