Terms & Conditions
Please read the conditions below carefully before ordering any products from our website. By registering on this website you are indicating your understanding of these terms and conditions and are agreeing to be bound by them.
Prices
Prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling inclusive of VAT (at the current rate). Prices listed are for one 75cl bottle unless otherwise stated.
Delivery location
We ask you to specify the delivery location for your order because we are legally obliged to charge VAT & duty at the prevailing rates in the country of delivery, regardless of where you may be resident.

info@nickswines.co.uk Payment for orders for delivery to addresses in NI/UK must be settled in Sterling. If you live outside the UK, but would like to send wine to someone in Northern Ireland or GB, you would need to select “Gt. Britain / Northern” in the delivery location section, and also register yourself as a customer in this country so that we can create a sterling account for you and process your order in sterling.
Discount
All members of Nicks Wine Club are entitled to a 5% discount on all purchases (excluding special offers or bin ends).
Payment
Settlement in full is required prior to despatch of orders. Credit or debit card payment may be made online via Sage Pay Encrypted System. Your card is only validated at the time you place your order on nickswines.co.uk. Payment will be taken within three working days of receipt of the order by the Nicks Wines Team or immediately prior to dispatch.
If any product you have ordered is out of stock at the time of ordering, you will be contacted by a Nicks Wines Team Member and offered a product of equal or higher value and value as substitute. If you do not wish to accept this substitution you will be refunded in full. We will NEVER process your order with substitutions without contacting you first.
We accept payment by Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard.
Deliveries
We have a reliable and established delivery network throughout Northern Ireland and Great Britain, with daily deliveries to
Belfast city centre. Wine will usually be delivered to you any time between
9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). All products ordered from our website will be delivered within 7 working days from receipt of your order. Please note that deliveries to
The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and some areas of
Scotland may take longer and are subject to a surcharge. Please contact the team at
info@nickswines.co.uk for a quote. If possible, please let us know where the wines can be left if you are out in the Delivery Instructions section. If the wine delivery cannot be completed a card will be left with a phone number so that another delivery day can be arranged. We must either obtain a signature or know where the consignment can be left. Should you require delivery after a particular date, please specify in the ' Delivery Instructions'. We can deliver wine to work addresses. All goods must be examined at the time of delivery. Claims for breakages will only be accepted if Nicks Wines is informed within three days of delivery.
Delivery Charges
Charges vary according to the delivery location and volume or value of wine ordered. Delivery charges may be subject to change depending on exact delivery location (in particular for deliveries to
The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and the
Scottish islands). The Nicks Wines Team will contact you to advise any changes before payment is processed.
For those people ordering 3 or more cases: Please note: delivery charges for this order are subject to confirmation. The Nicks Wines Team will contact you to advise accordingly before payment is processed.
We reserve the right to charge for re‐delivery of orders that have not been completed due to incorrect address information being supplied by the customer.

To save costs, wines may be sent via a UK mainland agent and depending on the wines selected may arrived on separate deliveries. Please specify if the goods must all be packaged as one unit in the delivery instructions box.
*Exclude: The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and the Scottish islands.
Collections
You can collect your wine order from Nicks Warehouse. Please allow at least three working day for us to process your order (please note this make take longer if the wine is not in stock and we need to order the wine from bond or contact you regarding substitutions). We highly recommend telephoning before you make your journey to check that your order is ready.
Returns
If you would like to discuss the exchange or return of any item, please call the Nicks Wines Team on 028 9024 9154.
To return or exchange wine, you may do so within 7 days of the date of despatch, provided that it is in a saleable condition, (i.e. unopened and in it’s original packaging, with no damage to the bottle whatsoever. (This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods). We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. If a wine purchased from us is corked or faulty, we will offer a replacement upon return of the bottle in question. Please note however, if a wine has been stored incorrectly or kept for too long, we may not be able to offer a refund.
Sale or Return
All sale or return orders must include a minimum of £300 of wine, Champagne, Port or spirits. A maximum of 20% of the original order quantity can be returned. ‐ All returned goods must be in re‐sellable condition otherwise no credit will be given. A collection charge of £10 per order will be applied to all sale or return orders.
Breakages
All goods must be examined at the time of delivery. Claims for breakages will be accepted only if Nicks Wines is given notification within three days of delivery. If a bottle has been broken please contact us immediately to provide details of the breakage.
Availability
Due to the nature of the product we cannot ensure permanent availability of all wines or vintages listed, although we try our best.
Other services, special offers etc From time to time Nicks Wines may offer other services, special offers, discounts, promotions etc together with services not specifically referred to in these terms and conditions. Such matters shall be subject, in addition to these terms and conditions, to specific terms and conditions relating to such matters. By taking the service or special offers, discounts, promotions you agree to be bound by such additional terms and conditions.
Privacy Policy
Nicks Wines will only use the information collected from you whilst using our website to process your orders, to enhance our service to you and inform you of promotions from Nicks and it’s affiliates. We will never wilfully disclose information about you to any external party without first receiving your permission.
Age Restriction
By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Disclaimer
Our liability in connection with any products purchased through our website is strictly limited to the purchase price of such products. We cannot accept any liability for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business, however caused, if foreseeable. We accept no liability for any minor errors or omissions that may occur on our website, despite the precautions taken by us in the presentation of the products. These terms do not affect your statutory rights if you are purchasing as a consumer. Nicks Wines accepts no liability arising from errors (including typographical) contained in, or any omissions from, this website. Prices for any products ordered will be as quoted on website, except in the case of obvious errors (including typographical).
