A very well made traditional Chianti from a superb property in the heart of Chianti country. Carefully selected fully ripe Sangiovese and Canaiolo produce a wine laden with dark cherry fruit, succulent ripe plum and more than a whiff of wild herbs.

Since 1903 Castellani has been exporting its estate wines from Tuscany. Castellani work hard within the vienyard to ensure the best soil types, microclimates and light exposure to the grapes. Sophisticated enological techniques and an intensive research programme on different clones, have allowed them to valorise the great Tuscan vines, such as Sangiovese.
