This is a low alcohol Riesling with vibrant acidity perfectly balanced with natural fruit sugars. Intense aroma of mandarin with subtle spice and crisp minerality lead to a palate that is alive with zesty acidity. Bottled with some natural carbon dioxide for a tantalizing lift. This classically styled Riesling will reward the patient cellar with the confidence of screw cap by continuing to evolve tasty characters of marmalade and toast.

The Waipara Springs Estate Vineyard from which Premo wines are solely
sourced has a terroir that renders wines totally unique. Derived from a
prehistoric lakebed at the centre of the Waipara Valley floor the
vineyard soils are a rich blend of clay and limestone.
With vines sheltered from the prevailing easterly winds by the Teviotdale range, high midsummer heat combined with relatively low rainfall during the growing season along with long warm days and cold nights during harvest provide near perfect conditions for high quality fruit.
