Tasting Notes:
Intense straw yellow colour with lively greenish reflections very clean and bright aroma of very good intensity and finesse white mature fruit (apple pineapple) well wrapped by fresh floral notes (acacia) and delicate soothing accents. A harmonic ensemble that defines the gently aromatic character of the Albarino variety.A refreshing wine with a lively and fresh citrus character very wellbalanced with a typical characteristic in the texture expressive flavours and a finish with a great structure giving it length and depth. A perfect partner for sushi fish shellfish tempura pasta risotto and white meats.

A new force with a different approach… namely the very large, young, and dynamic originally named Vitivinícola Arousana. This is essentially now one of the big 3 in the region, producing some 400,000 litres in 2007 on the basis of a Co-op structure of some 460 members, their 200 hectares and a central high-tech vinification plant in Meaño. As might be imagined, within such a structure, many things are possible. Interestingly, the forward-thinking, switched-on management team have decided that although they can compete in the relatively new, emerging, dog-eat-dog world of private label Albariño it would be much more fun to launch a playful, lifestyle product along Almodóvar lines…hence Paco & Lola.
