Tasting Notes:
Blackcurrant and sloe are concentrated giving a black fruited richness to both nose and palate. There is a good structure but although quite firm the tannins are not aggressive. Some fresher bilberry shows in the middle giving a lighter feel but towards the back the richness of the cassis shows itself filling out the finish.Perfect with all red meat dishes and especially a good quality Roast Beef or Lamb meal. Fairly weighty, so will compliment many meals.
