Tasting Notes:
This is drinking in its absolute sweet spot at the moment. A beautiful tall bottle leads onto red fruit, then dark chocolate , then rich, full, plum flavours, finishing all cassis vanilla and spice. Perfect with all red meat dishes. Not too weighty, so will compliment many meals. The good acidity will help to cut through any fattiness, a good choice with a roast meal.

We are delighted to launch a new range of wines from California sourced from Scotto Family Wines, based in Lodi. We have been privileged to work with Anthony to develop the blends for this range with an emphasis on bright fruit expression and minimal use of oak. The Carignan vines which produce the fruit for the Cabernet Carignan blend are over 100 years old resulting in a wine of great concentration at this price level.
