Hollick 'The Nectar' Botrytis Riesling (37.5cl) 2010 Coonawarra

Tasting Notes:
Available in cases of 12 only. Bright golden straw appearance with clean and fresh aromas of dried apricot and honey with citrus notes of grapefruit. A rich and luscious palate of concentrated stone fruit and citrus flavours. Complex and balanced, the sweetness is complemented by the acidity, culminating in a refreshingly pleasant and lingering finish.

In 1998 Hollick expanded north of Coonawarra by developing the 24 ha Red Ridge vineyard at Wrattonbully on a prime outcrop of terra rossa soil which includes trial plantings of Tempranillo and Sangiovese. 2007 saw Hollick celebrate their 25th Anniversary. It was also the year that Ian's daughters Mel and Kate joined 'the firm'. The appropriately named restaurant 'Upstairs at Hollick' is the first winery restaurant in Coonawarra and has been a tremendous success with panoramic views of the vineyards and more intimately into their barrel store.
