Available in cases of 12 only A great example of an un-oaked Chardonnay. The nose is perfumed with notes of white peach and citrus aromas. The nose follows through on the palate with a creamy mid palate and a long lingering mineral aftertaste. Style: A crisp, creamy white wine that works well with fish, poultry, pork and game bird dishes. Particularly well suited to creamy pastas and salmon dishes. The firm acidity and fresh fruitiness prevents the wine from being overly rich, making it great as an aperitif too.

Cape Diversity recognizes the cultural and bio-diversity of the Cape. 2010 is the International Year of Biodiversity. The Cape is the smallest and has the most diverse plant kingdom in the world with more than 8550 plant species. Culturally South Africa is also incredibly diverse with 27 recognised 'official' languages! The labels depict the 3 plants species that are the essential trio found in the Cape's natural indigenous vegetation called Fynbos. Ericas, Restios and Proteas. The Erica Patens is a rare Heather that can be found in the mountains above the Cluver vineyards. In January 2010 Dr Paul Cluver Snr was trapped by flames while fighting a forest fire to protect this plant. The Restio Staberoha is a reed with a golden seed head that forms a key part in the fynbos around Stellenbosch. The Protea Serruria or Spiderbush plant is a rare protea that was thought to be extinct but was rediscovered near Malmsbury, 192 years after it was last recorded.
